I bought this thinking it was Horus' Rising from The Black Library, from the Horus Heresy series for Warhammer 40,0000. But, it is definitely not that book. Of course I had to finish the entire book (wasn't too long) to realize that it has absolutely nothing to do with Warhammer 40k, and is in fact a really odd and strange story. Maybe read this if you really like random, sometimes funny, and super odd stories... but if you're looking for the first book in Horus Heresy, look elsewhere!
